When I am in Cairo, I like staying here. The breakfasts is savoury and good with lots of food. A special thanks to helpful staff. The location is fantastic, 2 miles from Work. There is a good restaurant relatively close to hotel.

Carpeted king guest room with the Nile view, bathroom, for example. Fast check-in, good and perfect location close to the centre of the city, the pyramids in the distance, and public transportations...

As I only stayed for one night, whilst stopping over in Cairo on my way to Luxor, I found Ramses Hilton quite adequate. The Nile View Junior Suite had incredible views over the City, the room was comfortable, the pool area was also a welcome break from the bustling city below. Staff were friendly and genuinely helpful. The breakfast Buffet was varied and delicious.
There was nothing I was categorically unhappy about, although I still don't feel Ramses Hilton provided good value for money. It was adequate, not amazing. I was only there for one night, so wasn't too bothered by much - but for starters the TV in the room wasn't working. It's a small thing - but at $250 per night, this shouldn't happen. Whilst the room was comfortable, I feel that the decor may be slightly dated. So whilst I enjoyed my stay, I do think improvements could be made in terms of decor etc. to make it worth its hefty price, especially considering one could book a slightly lesser-known hotel, but just as comfortable for one quarter of the price of the Ramses Hilton.

Good entral location overlooking the Nile. Breakfast not bad but a bit unorganized. And strange as it may seem, but my final bill was about 25% lower than original quote.
This hotel long needs renovation. Finish, decoration, engineering equipment - all is soooo outdated, back to 60-70ies. Room service and cleaning along with services at restaurants all leave a lot to be desired

We arranged for a transfer from the airport to the Ramses Hilton. From the moment we landed we were assisted by a very charming young man who whisked us through customs and deposited us safely into the taxi. On arriving at the hotel we were made to feel most welcome. The room was clean and comfortable. When we arrived back in our room on one evening we had a "Nile crocodile" made up with towels resting on our bed and the next evening it was a flower. The Sherlock Holmes pub with its 6 - 7pm "Happy Hour" was a popular gathering place. The breakfasts were excellent. The hotel is well situated and within easy walking distance of the path along the Nile, the shopping on High street, Tahir Square and the Cairo Museum. I would suggest taking your own hairdryer along. Highly recommended.
We would loved to have had a meal in the "window of the world" restaurant but it was unfortunately closed for renovation.

The hotel made a mistake with the booking, but rectified it after some discussion and upgraded the room. It was useful to have the print-out of the original booking with us, as it was disputed.

the ramses hotel is an old the management should renovate it totaly.
there are more guests than the hotel staff can handle.specially at lobby area and the garden court.more over the wedding is held at the same place of the lobby area which make the area very unsafe for scaping rout in case of fire.
